I’ve always been fascinated by stop motion movies.

After one of my friends (Lorenzo Rugiati) participated in the creation of one of them (“Morte di Marat”), telling me the (long) time and (tremendous) effort needed to realize even one single short scene, I can only bow to the creators of Coraline.

The amazing amount of details put on the creation of every single character and the evolution of them in the movie is really something! I heartily recommend all of you to take a look at this wonderful movie (surely one of the best after “nightmare before Christmas”).
So be sure to watch the short movie “Morte di Marat” and read this really interesting blog post about the making of Coraline, taking your time to watch all the behind-the-scenes clips.

… and beware of the other-mother!! o_o
