N.n.u.t.s

March 5, 2007

Hi all, this was another of my flagstones. Called “nothing new under the sun” cause it uses no new shapes but the same as always: triangles, hexagons and rhombuses. However they’re arranged in a new way, so as Jane has told me, there was something new.

this is what came out

and as always I’ve published a CP

Bentho’s flagstone

February 24, 2007

This was my second flagstone.

Just this flagstone uploaded by Bentho sometimes ago on Flickr, made for relaxing cause I’m going mad trying to fold some flagstone patterns I’ve got in my head…quite nice, and my flagstone skills are growing a little :)
I’ve found this easier than my previous one, maybe it’s only because it’s the second flagstone… :)

and here is the CP

Infinity flagstone

February 7, 2007

This was my first flagstone, folded just after discovering how this kind of things works, the ‘flagstone’ name derives from the nice kind of tiling that seems a real flagstone and was firstly used by Joel Cooper.

While discussing with some of my paper friends on flickr Peter Keller has called the little space among the tiles ‘grout-line’. nice :)

I’ve attached the CP so feel free to fold it if you want. In some days I will post 2 others flagstones folded by me, even one of them isn’t a design of mine.
